Continue readingDąbrowski has an image that can supposedly be found in the National Museum of Scotland. On that chart you clearly see a pilgrim. It is a Knight Templar element, it also features in some Royal Arch systems where it is part of the emblem of the Sojourner, see below. As a concept it exists in some 2nd “craft” degrees, but I know no images with an actual pilgrim in that context.
Continue readingDąbrowski has an unidentified “American Masonic Symbols”, see below. The triangle with 12 candles seems to refer to the twelve apostles and is (possibly among others) part of the Knight Templar degrees.
It can also be seen on a painting that (according to the same author) can be found in the National Museum of Scotland. There the candles are clearer and the skull and crossbones in the middle may point towards certain degrees.

The cock is also a somewhat common element of (European) rooms for preparing the candidate (right).

This chart has a Temple of Honor and a Temple of Temperance. Both are referred to with the five pillars.

I suppose these symbols together have a significance. The dots remind a bit of the ‘round towers’. The star is one of three.

A rose also features in Royal Arch symbolism and can there be found in the middel of a cross and/or a reference to Sharon.

Does the direction that this hands point to say anything?

In the left part of the bottom you see what appears to be a branch of something and a mirror. The mirror has second “craft” degree significance in some rites, but I suppose this combination has some Templar significance.

On the bottom right there appears to be a garden. Is the fountain (?) the symbol of significance here?

Five pillars can be seen every now and then. In the USA they are (sometimes) part of the 2nd “craft” degree. It also appears in the 12th degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite sometimes. I suppose they refer to the orders of architecture.
In the image above, the pillars have the letters T, L, P and F. In this case it appears to be one of the temples portrayed on this chart (of a reference to the other two). In this case the Temple of Honor and Temperance.

This eye doesn’t look like an all-seeing eye, so it has to have another meaning. Perhaps similar to the ear that you also see a bit to the right.

On two place there are quite specific and somewhat similar drawings. Three phases in the building of round (Templar) towers?

My best suggestion for this image is a burning chalice. Very doubtful! Incense then perhaps?
